I work with individuals and couples, addressing a broad range of issues including:
Depression • Anxiety • Relationship Problems • Chronic Illness • Grief • Loss • Divorce • Parenting • Co-parenting • Transitions • Aging • Fertility • Sexuality • Infidelity • Gender • LGBTQ Concerns • Trauma • Addiction • Recovery
I am a warm and skilled clinician who draws upon depth-oriented psychodynamic traditions to which I bring a cognitive-behavioral approach. My work with clients reflects my belief that successful treatment happens through a combination of factors: developing practical skills, exploring the unconscious processes that can influence us, and experiencing the benefits of a rich therapeutic relationship. I offer an engaging and supportive, yet challenging, environment in which to explore your concerns and make meaningful and lasting changes.
You are welcome to contact me at the phone number listed, or use the email option above to ask any questions you might have about my practice or scheduling.
Qualifications
I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2011. I am licensed in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (License #77402). In addition to being an active member of the Santa Cruz Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), I am active within the Monterey Bay Psychological Association, and the Santa Cruz Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Society. I continue to develop my clinical skills through regular study, attending trainings and workshops, and by participating with colleagues in a weekly consultation group.
